Team Leader (AQA)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
- 8+ years of experience in quality assurance and testing, 5 years in test automation;
- Proven experience in a leadership or managerial role within a QA team;
- Ability to independently solve problems, initiate necessary procedures and accompany tasks to completion;
- A deep understanding of how to apply software testing methods, tools, and best practices;
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to analyze complex systems and processes;
- Understanding of business priorities and needs;
- Skill in finding optimal solutions with limited time and resources;
- Managers experience: test planning, task delegation, team workload tracking;
- The skill to stay updated on all team activities;
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in quality assurance.
- Definition of all necessary testing activities on projects to ensure that they (projects) adhere to all required quality standards;
- Monitor deadlines for global tasks/initiatives of the testing team, coordinate/agree with PMs, Delivery, and Engineering Managers on their execution;
- Control the execution of quarterly goals and policies, maintaining up-to-date information, and providing status on the implementation of policies or quarterly goals;
- Monitor the quality of the implementation of policies and quarterly goals;
- Analysis of the root causes of errors, elimination of root causes, and addressing consequences;
- Full responsibility for delivered artifacts;
- Have a detailed understanding of project architectures at the module level and their interactions;
- Support testing during architecture changes or refactoring (paying attention not only to the functional level but also not forgetting about non-functional requirements);
- Build a testing and development process focused on reducing time to market and increasing the quality of delivered products;
- Development and establishment of the necessary hierarchy within the testing team;
- Assistance in writing testing policies and initiation of writing such policies based on arising or potential tasks;
- All decisions made should be focused on intensive solutions, not quantitative ones;
- Tracking hiring (according to the workload tracking process) and conducting layoffs;
- Building and implementing a system for tracking project quality;
- Building and implementing a system for tracking team workload;
- Standartise and unify technical stack and approaches between different teams and value streams;
- Integrate knowledge sharing best practices between teams and value streams.
