Head of PMO
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in a senior PMO role;
- Any PM certification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP, APM, Agile, etc) is a Must;
- Proven experience in delivering projects and change management initiatives, identifying and mitigating project risks;
- Experience measuring project performance and resource alignment;
- Proficient in project management software and tools;
- Strong leadership and team management skills;
SAFe certification – huge advantage
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills;
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset;
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities;
Key Responsibilities:
• Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of project management professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.This is a key role in developing the PM skills in the Team through coaching, mentoring and training. You will also create and manage team performance objectives to grow both team members and the PMO function;
• Project Oversight: Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget; supervise timelines and roadmaps, high-level scope. Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues; gather appropriate metrics;
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure proactive management of project risks and issues;
• Process Improvement: Develop, implement, and maintain project management methodologies, standards, and tools. Continuously enhance PMO processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure project managers and teams adhere to the project methodology, internal policies and approaches for consistency;
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with senior management, product managers and stakeholders to ensure project alignment with business objectives. Act as accountable owner for all active projects any program and project management queries, providing clear, concise briefings to the Senior Leadership Team as required;
• Resource Allocation: Optimize resource allocation and workload distribution among the team for effective project delivery.
